Disclaimer : The piece below was written by my beloved mother Susee Mable in July 2008. I found it in her Blogger "draft folder" awaiting to be published onto this blog. It was intended to be an addendum to " What God Wants from You (Part I) ". Illness sadly prevented her from regularly posting and writing. Soul Mates My Dearest Mother, I love you and miss you with all my heart. You were my hero, my protector and the love of my life. As a child I dreaded the day that you would leave me, the day when God would come calling. And now it's here, the quiet of that other side its volume deafening and complete. The Miracle of Christ Healing the Blind by El Greco Over the past four months, I have been ill with different physical ailments. This is why I have not posted as often as I had intended to do on this blog. When I am ill, I always turn to God in prayer. And He always listens to my prayers, providing me with a great deal of help. For a few days during my suffering, I had such thoughts as these: “Why God? Why? Since my childhood days—when I’d known any knowledge of the world and of Heaven and God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, I was and still am very faithful to you.
