The Miracle of Christ Healing the Blind by El Greco Over the past four months, I have been ill with different physical ailments. This is why I have not posted as often as I had intended to do on this blog. When I am ill, I always turn to God in prayer. And He always listens to my prayers, providing me with a great deal of help. For a few days during my suffering, I had such thoughts as these: “Why God? Why? Since my childhood days—when I’d known any knowledge of the world and of Heaven and God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, I was and still am very faithful to you. First of all, it doesn’t happen right away. To align your personality with your soul does not happen right away…just because you want it to. It takes lots of time. Every time you set your mind to: create harmony, cooperate, and show and keep reverence for life—you begin the process. It works slowly, step by step. Thus, it is better for mankind to know that there is nothing better for us to strive for than to be happy and to do good while living on earth. Eat, drink and do good things with whatever God has blessed you with. That’s truly a gift from God. If God gives any man wealth and prosperity, it’s important for him to enjoy them and be thankful for them. God can keep a heart with gladness and peace, in much the same way that He can give a man riches. Thus, man has to learn how God gives to his people, and then follow God’s Kingdom of Grace and also share some of his God given gifts with the poor and needy. I Corinthians 3:16: Don’t you know that you yourself are God’s temple and that God’s spirit lives in you? Mark 11:23-24: Whoever says to the mountain, be taken up and cast into the sea, and doesn’t doubt in his heart, it will be done for him. This passage means that whatever you ask for in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. Whenever you do pray, forgive if you have anything against anyone, so that your father also forgives you. Jesus Christ’s mission is to give love and forgiveness.

I think we should all reflect upon and know how to make our lives more fulfilling in love, happiness, and success, and also to maintain a peaceful mind. To keep up personal happiness, everyone must understand and ask oneself: “Why I am not happy?” Am I sincere to others and myself? Why or why not? When your mind is filled with many other things and problems, an emotional blockage occurs between the soul and the mind. Thus, messages will not be transmitted properly from soul to mind. This results in an individual having negative thoughts occupy their mind. How can one stop this? Emotional healing comes through self-examination. If you can understand where you go wrong and why you are getting negative thoughts, then you can correct yourself and become happier and healthier. A good reference in the Bible is Matthew 19:16-21 . What is Love? Anyone can provide an answer to this question. If you refer to the bible, I Corinthians 4:8,13 has a few things to say about love. To paraphrase: “Love is kind and patient. It’s never jealous, boastful, proud or rude. Love is not selfish or quick tempered. It doesn’t keep a record of wrongs that others do. Instead love rejoices in the truth but not in evil; love always is supportive, loyal, hopeful and trusting. Love never fails. There are faith, hope and love but of these three the greatest is love.” Love can indeed go far beyond our limits. From a Christian perspective, Jesus Christ died on the cross to save all sinners. True love never cares for the self more than the welfare of others. In order to help and do good deeds for others, one should have an intention to do so; an intention with authentic power that is. What is authentic power? It means that the Holy Spirit is with the soul and personality. When the Holy Spirit is within you, this makes you live in love. Love...

The soul is our spiritual body, which really is an embodiment of God’s Spirit within us.
